Every child is born with a desire to explore and experiment. In our new preschool series, Little Labs, you and your young scientist (age 3-5) are invited  to participate in age-appropriate lab activities, crafts, movement activity and story time -- all designed to strengthen emerging skills and ignite further curiosity in young minds. Each lab last approximately 45 minutes. Fall Series All labs begin at 11 a.m. and last approximately 45 minutes. Wiggling Worms Tuesday, Sept. 21 and Saturday, Sept. 25  What do earthworms eat? How do earthworms move? Which end is the head? Wiggly! Squiggly! Squirmy! Me and My Shadow Tuesday, Oct. 5 and Saturday, Oct. 9  Children all over the world enjoy playing in the Sun. What happens when the Sun’s light shines on people and objects? Investigate this exciting question with your children! Bubble Bonanza Tuesday, Oct. 19 and Saturday, Oct. 23 What shape is a bubble? Why do bubbles pop? Little chemists explore bubbles and design their own bubble wand. Pop! Pop! Pop! Please turn off and put away phones and pagers while attending the lab. Any younger siblings in attendance must be confined to a stroller for the duration of the lab. Excessively disruptive behavior may result in a participant being asked to leave the session. No refund will be granted.  Refund policy: Cancellations made by the participant seven (7) days in advance of the workshop date will receive a full refund. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made less than seven (7) days in advance. Cancellation policy: In case of insufficient number of registered participants, Adventure Science Center reserves the right to cancel any program three days prior to the day of session. All registered participants will receive a full refund. Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, participants should check the ASC web site before leaving home, or call the main phone line at 615-862-5160.
