Día del Niño

Sunday, June 11 is Día del Niño – the day of children! Much like Mother's Day or Father's Day, this traditional Latin American holiday celebrates the joy of being a child.

We're partnering with Conexión Américas to bring themed activities and community partners to the science center to celebrate in style.

Timed Activities:

• Live Science - 11:45 am & 1:45 pm
  • A staff member from Conexión Américas will be on-site to translate the show alongside an Adventure Science Center staff member.
• Face Painting - 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm
• Cartoonist - 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Ongoing Activities:

• Free popcorn & cotton candy available for guests
• Bilingual staff members from Conexión Américas will be available to assist guests in Adventure Gallery, Tinkering Garage, and the i2 Makerspace
