WEEK 1: may 27th - may 31st
space quest
Get ready for an adventure from Earth’s atmosphere to the wonders of space. Camper’s knowledge will expand to infinity and beyond as we discover our solar system, black holes, rockets, constellations, and more. We will explore the science behind rocket construction as they build their own, and watch it launch. 3, 2, 1... BLAST OFF!
WEEK 2: june 3rd - 7th
Wilderness explorers
Join us as we venture into the natural world of Earth’s wildest wonders. Not only will campers learn about the unique features and creatures of biomes and habitats from all over the world, but campers will also learn key skills necessary to survive in those environments. We will explore survival skills like navigation, first aid, and shelter building, and learn sustainable practices that help maintain our wild habitats.
SPECIALTY CAMP: ROBOTICS AND ELECTRONICS
Campers will combine fun with the exploration of robotic mechanics. Campers will learn and be encouraged to think of multiple ways to solve problems in designing, building, and controlling a variety of robots. This specialty camp will learn to code and construct Cue Robots, LEGO® Mindstorm® EV3, as well as underwater remote operated vehicles (ROVs) to tackle obstacles, challenges, and friendly engineering competitions. Young, inspired future programmers will love this week of camp.
WEEK 3: june 10th - june 14th
WIZARDING WORLD OF SCIENCE
Our camp professors will lead their houses through classes, lessons, and experiments that explore the real-life science that inspired Harry Potter’s magical world. Campers will learn how to care for magical creatures, conquer potions, utilize forces, and compete in a tri-wizard tournament utilizing scientific forces. All aboard the Hogwarts Express!
SPECIALTY CAMP: LEGO® ENGINEERS
Get ready and 'LEGO' to camp. Campers will get the chance to build architectural and engineered LEGO® masterpieces. Campers will adopt principles of designing, planning, and constructing to challenge themselves to reach unbelievable and epic LEGO goals just like professional architects and engineers.
WEEK 4: june 17TH - 21st
detective discoveries
Campers and counselors will work towards becoming advanced super sleuths to solve the camp-wide mystery of “Who Done It!?” Campers will employ their problem-solving and detective skills to decipher codes, gather evidence, conduct tests, and practice real-life investigation techniques. Together as one camp, we will solve the big mystery.
SPECIALTY CAMP: Science + FASHION
Calling all visionaries to the chat. In this week of camp, budding fashion designers will hone their creativity in designing while discovering the specific science behind fashion. Campers will dive into their creative visions while exploring color theory, the correlation between psychology and clothing, new skills such as sewing, and much more. All while preparing their very own work of art for our camp-exclusive fashion show at the end of the week.
WEEK 5: JUNE 24th - JUNE 28th
Dinosaur Expedition
Calling aspiring paleontologists and dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages for a week full of discovery at the science center. Experience the thrill of holding real dinosaur fossils, studying the deep past, performing explosive experiments, examining modern-day plants and animals with prehistoric roots, and much more. Campers will learn from a real paleontologist and be able to delve into the exciting world of paleontology. You don't want to miss out on this expedition, it will be dino-mite!
WEEK 6: July 1st - july 4th *no camps*

WEEK 8: July 15th - july 19th
CAMP 3000
Campers will investigate the forces, energy, and actions powering some of their favorite super heroes and villains. We will hypothesize, predict and test whether we could exert super speed or super strength, be invincible, fly, and more! Join us as we conduct hands-on experiments, make mechanisms, and create concoctions to examine the ins and outs of super-power science.
SPECIALTY CAMP: Myth Busters
Could you really duct tape something the size of a person to a wall? Can you really rip a phonebook in half with just human strength? Is it possible to remove a tablecloth while leaving the items on top untouched? In this week of camp, campers will follow the scientific method as they perform a series of experiments to prove or disprove a belief or curiosity about the physical world. Science was inspired by questions, and we want to inspire the next generation of debunkers and philosophers
WEEK 9: July 22nd - july 26th

SPECIALTY CAMP: Animal Science
This camp is for the bewildered biologists and animal analysts! If you want to explore the ins and outs of creepy crawlies and fury friends alike, join us for a week of all things animal science. Campers will explore the anatomy of some cool critters, compare and contrast kingdoms and phyla, survey habitats and ecosystems, dabble in understanding medical and veterinary practices, and much more!
WEEK 10: July 29th - august 2nd
super scientists
This camp week will be jam-packed with chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, robotics, and more! Campers will sharpen their Super Scientist skills in loads of STEAM experiments, creations, and designs as they prepare to film their Super Scientist video. Campers can help in various aspects of creating our Limited Series, and will conclude the week with a viewing of our production, movie theater style!

FAQs
Camp runs from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm with check-in running from 8:30 am to 9:00 am and check-out running from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
For an additional fee, Before Care and After Care is available for those needing early check-in or late check-out.
Before Care runs from 7:30 am to 9:00 am.
After Care runs from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
Any camper dropped off before 8:30 am or after 4:00 pm will be charged the respective Before or After Care fee.

Adventure Science Center camp does not provide lunch or snacks. Campers should bring a snack with them each day and may either bring their own lunch or order food from our on-site Subway. Subway lunch orders must be completed and paid for on Monday morning for the entire week or the various days of the week you would like to purchase Subway lunch.
We do not encourage campers to bring money to camp. Their camp schedule does not include a stop in the gift shop. The gift shop will be open from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm Friday for camp families.

15-27 days from the first day of camper's camp session - 50% refund

Refund requests will be calculated from the delivery date of the request. Please email camps@adventuresci.org to request a refund.

We make every attempt to serve campers who require special attention or consideration. However, as we are not a special needs camp, there may be some needs that we are unable to meet. If your child has special needs or requirements, please contact us at Camps@adventuresci.org
Adventure Science Center is proud to offer subsidized camp registration fees to families that participate in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, WIC) and the Families First/Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) programs.
How to Enroll:
- Contact the Camp Coordinator at camps@adventuresci.org. Provide the camper's name, grade, and specific camp/date(s) of interest.
- Email proof of SNAP, WIC, or TANF participation to camps@adventuresci.org.
- Complete payment with the Camp Coordinator.
Subsidized camp registrations are available for Day and Week-long Camps. Spots are limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
